Regulatory Association for Social & Territorial Assist (RASTA) is an independent, non-profit and community-based voluntary organization working at the grassroots level for participatory and sustainable development. Established by a group of socially committed and like-minded young individuals, RASTA works for the empowerment and upliftment of deprived, marginalized and vulnerable communities, particularly women, children, adolescents, tribal communities and PVTGs.
The organization promotes people-centered and development-oriented initiatives in health, education, gender equality, child protection, livelihoods, social justice and environmental sustainability, while strengthening grassroots institutions and community leadership for self-reliant and equitable development. RASTA was formally registered in August 2007 as a Charitable Trust under the Indian Trusts Act, 1882 in Godda district of Jharkhand.

RASTA started social work in Amarapara block of Pakur district (Santhal Pargana region of Jharkhand state) among deprived sections of the society focusing on the tribal, the dalits, women & children especially of deprived families. At present RASTA is also working in remote rural areas of Gridih and Godda district of Jharkhand and Bhagalpur district of Bihar.
